I have been asked to create a survey quiz to collect data for export as part of a research project. Can anyone point me in the direction of any tutorials on how to publish the package so that the data is exported?
I have created a test quiz using 5 survey questions but I am not sure what to do next - is it the same as exporting a graded quiz??
Will an LMS allow me to view/export the data input?
Sorry to have so many questions, but this is a new area of development for me.
Normal quiz with a results slide, set up a testbed of questions and test in moodle, see which ones work and look at the reporting functions to see if you are getting what you need.

Really depends on the LMS, some work some don't, apart from Articulate Online I don't know any that work with Likert questions.
Pick one and pick many and text entry should work, but I would test these
