I developed a robust storyline (SL2) site for performance support which is hosted on g-daddy. This was pubblished prior to our LMS offering Tin Can capabilities for tracking. The storyline doesn't has quizzes or assessments.
THE QUESTION IS: Can I activate a feature that will allow site site tracking on any level (slides accessed or storyline) period?

You'd need to republish your course with the Tin Can publishing/tracking option - but as for how that'll behave not hosted in an LMS I can't say for certain. I'll defer to the community and you may want to share a bit more information about how you've connected the hosting site to your LMS.
