video/ audio controls

hellou all,

I inserted video and I was trying it and how can I work in storyline with video...a found very useful fuction, or buttoms - video controls...I was finding it a long time, but when I have worked with audio, not video..it is very good, becouse I dont have to use a seekbar (which do my space on screen smaller)..I enter a picute of it...but I cant find something similar in Audio..I would like to use the same controls with audio, too...not seekbar...it is possible, please??? it would be very helpful..thanks

Hi Jane,

Because the audio doesn't appear on the slide like the video, there isn't a default way to show the progress without the seekbar. I have seen some creative examples of custom progress bars that you could add to the screen and using a series of triggers set it to show when audio begins, use the play/pause functionality, etc.

Hi Jane and Ashley,

I'm wondering if the Mike Enders solution in this thread might work for what you're looking to do Jane. He suggests converting the audio to a video file (SWF, FLV, MP4). He provides an example.

Please shout out with questions!
