Video controls in a nice layout
Nov 13, 2018
I've searched the community but haven't found a solution yet: I have disabled the player in my project because I use my own controls within the slides. There are videos in it that fill the screen. I would like to add a player to the video but if I do so I would have to change my layout to make room for the player under my video. Is there a way to add the player on an additional layer? I know how to do it with pause and play, but I would like to show the progress of video in the player bar without disturbing the dimensions and layout of my slide.
I hope there's some hero out there who has figured this one out!

Hi Anouk,
The progress you are talking about is the video slider or show percentage?
Hi Daniel
I mean the video slider.
If you want to replace video control in Storyline, I think that is not possible.
I suggest using Web Object and tag your video in HTML/HTML5 and bring it into Storyline.
Hm that's too bad. Sounds complicated but I might give it a try. Thanks for responding.
It is not possible because there is no jumpTo frame or jumpTo que points in Storyline yet.
How can you implement the dragging of the slider where you don't know the target frame.
