Video doesnt disappear after i close the layer

HI Heroes, can someone please help me with this one?
I insesrted a video using a web object and placed it on a layer. So when i click the video icon (the last image), the layer is displayed and the video started playing (top image). However, when i click the red cross button to close the layer, everything else disappeared except for the video (middle image). I have attached a fade out animation for the video also
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hm, that seems to work for me, see here a quick test. Can you share your .story file so that we can have a closer look?

Can you also share you file so i can compare the 2?
In addition to the video being on the watch layer, your hide layer has another copy of the video on it, delete it and it should work.

But why the fading out animation diddn't work on the hide layer?
