I recently developed a project to be published to the Web which contains a few short videos at the beginning (WMV files). The project files were sent across to a client to upload to their Website: the problem is that when they hit the first video screen all they see is a blank screen and the navigation freezes so they cannot move forward or back via the menu.
We have published the project locally and it runs through fine for us: we are struggling to find a reason why this happens and suspect it may be an issue at the client end, however we are running out of suggestions for them to try.

do they have they added the mime type for mp4s to their website? All videos are converted to MP4s

I'd agree with Phil it sounds like it may be the mime type, and you can share this support article with them. Additionally, there are some other documented reasons here why videos may not play.
