The video scrubber wen on the lms a click jumps the timeline to start and wont allow scroll forward but when I preview the project it works fine on my desk. Did I miss a setting?
I tried version 3.42 becasue a colleague says it works for them in Articulate preview. A publish from 3.42 is same issue in my LMS and chrome. I accessed just the story file on the web server - same issue. I upload the file to an azure cloud web server - still scrubber issue in chrome - i try IE and it is working fine.
I poked around in the chrome console and do not see errors or obvious differnces in network details.
There is a ticket opened (Case #02435880) and file has been shared. If you can - please escalate. It seems like there are similar reports of the same symptoms over the last two years.
Support tells me they "publish and it works fine" so it must be my desktop. But after uninstall/reinstall and also a fresh install on a laptop In all cases sending to a IIS or an Azure server the chrome scrubber does not work.
When running from a 360 publish or when the tech publishes to scorm cloud it works. it also works if i publish to 360 review myself. And the tech says using my Azure link they can see the issue.
Based on the symptoms i tried to look for any mime type server issues but could not locate any. Also to avoid finger pointing on "the LMS" we are wrestling with the .story file to eliminate the LMS as a contributor to the issue. In case the mp4 encoding was delivering different media size from IIS, i recompressed videos and the issue stil persisted.
Aslo in case the scrubber had a window.parent sort of issue i tried to run the course in an iframe on ISS and azure but that did not clear it.
