Videos not playing in published story on LMS

Videos that previously played fine when the storyline file was first published to our LMS are no longer playing.  Using Storyline 360 and the videos are in MP4 format. I've tried changing from automatic play to play when clicked and neither option works on LMS.  Both options work fine when published to Review 360,  just not the LMS.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hi Tina!

Thank you for providing these details! Are you using a specific browser where the videos aren't playing? Or is it just when viewing the course in the LMS that the videos don't play?

Also, it would be helpful to see a glimpse of what it looks like on your end! Would you mind sharing either the .story file or a screenshot with us? You can do so by using the "Add Attachment" button in this discussion. We'll be sure to report back with our findings!

Thanks for your reply.  I have tried in both Chrome and IE on the LMS and have the same problem.

I have attached three screenshots, one showing the first slide where the videos are launched and also two of the video slide itself - both the same when play or pause button selected, just a black screen.  If you need the story and one of the MP4s please let me know.  Thanks

Thank you for providing those attachments! 

I uploaded your course to SCORM cloud and tried to recreate the issue you see with the videos not playing. I tested the course in IE 11 and Chrome; however, the videos were playing when I reached that layer. Here is a short video of the course after uploading it to SCORM cloud and viewing it in Chrome here.

Since the course works in SCORM Cloud but not in your LMS, I would reccommend connecting with your LMS provider.

Thanks for checking this for me.

I have been in contact with my LMS provider and they asked me to send the ZIP file for them to check.  They replicated the issue with the videos not playing in both the LMS and SCORM cloud.

I know I sent the original files (and not the ZIP) to yourselves to check, can you please check the ZIP file and see if the problem occurs there.  ZIP file is in: -

I am more than happy to help! 

I uploaded your zipped file to SCORM Cloud and it appears that the video files are missing. I am not sure why that happened, however, when I re-published the .story file you provided to SCORM Cloud the videos were appearing and playing normally. 

I am attaching the file that I published, could I have you test this file to see if the videos appear for you?
