WCAG Compliant

Jun 01, 2020

Good Afternoon,

I am creating a course that needs to be WCAG compliant (AA). Would anyone have any great resources on how to start this course? Also, a sample of a course?
I am looking for any and all advice.

Also curious, is Rise 360 compliant?
Thanks,
Delaney King

Hi Delaney, I don't think they are yet claiming compliance on Rise 360 as per the note on this page: https://articulate.com/support/article/Articulate-360-FAQs-Accessibility. Check the text under the heading under "Does Articulate 360 support Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)?" under the second paragraph.

Here's a list of resources to help you with Storyline 360: https://articulate.com/support/article/Articulate-Storyline-360-is-Compliant-with-Web-Content-Accessibility-Guidelines-wcag

There are plenty of things to consider when building WCAG compliant content with Storyline. Getting the tab order right early (before you duplicate slides). Removing decorative graphics from the screen reader, and providing good labels for buttons and graphics etc.

Let me know if you have any specific questions. I have plenty of experience in this field.
