I have embedded several YT links as web objects in my Storyline 3 course and despite the links all being tested successfully, they refuse to play when the course is uploaded. The error "YouTube refused to connect" appears each time. I saw the resolution for a similar thread and I do not want the videos to open in a new browser.
Thanks for reaching out! Is it possible you're referring to this discussion below where the option to open the video in a new browser window was discussed? Please take a look at the suggestion made by my colleague Vincent to embed the video as a web object.
If you find yourself still unable to have the video appear within the course, share your file with our support team, and they'll be able to provide further insight!
Thanks, Ren. I was confused by the discussion as embedding was indicated to be something different from creating a web object (which I had already done), and saw that he was only referring to Storyline 2 (whereas I am working in 3). It appears to be working now.
