Audio in Presenter

Mar 29, 2011

Hello,

What is the best audio format for me to use in Presenter? I'm using .wav right now and on 2 of my 22 slides the audio is really echo-y. It's not like this in the preview, just when I publish it.And only on 2 slides where the audio was created the exact same way as the rest of it.

Thanks

Hi Vicky & welcome to Heroes,

If you are experiencing unexpected issues with audio you have recorded via Articulate -> Record Narration or Articulate -> Import Audio some common solutions can be found here:

Presenter '09:

Presenter 5:

As stated in the article, we recommend using 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV files for best results.

Let me know if there's anything else that I can help with.

I am finding that I am having an issue with all types of files when imported. They don't represent what the files normally sound like.  I have used the Audio Import feature before on '09 and it worked fine.

I can insert via PPT, and the sound quality is fine, then try to publish and the volume is lowered dramatically, which can't be heard.

I listen to the files in Winamp or a DAW and it sounds fine, but when imported, it comes through with a distortion and the volume goes down to where you can barely hear it.

Tried all ranges of MP3. OGG, WAV, AIFF...  Using Presenter '13 with PPT '13. Audio exported through Ableton Live and Audacity.

Any help?
