You can place the object in a layer and show that layer when the user click on a button. It requires a copy of the object in that layer to give the illusion that it's animated when the user clicks on it. I attached a file with an example. I hope that works.

If you are using a motion path animation you can add a trigger to move the object along the motion path when the user clicks on the object.
