Articulate & Workday testing

Feb 22, 2022

Hello,

The company I work for is changing LMS. Currently, we can create tests within our LMS and this allows me to track test completion in detail such as % of people who passed/failed a specific question. I've yet to use workday and I'm doing some prep for when it goes live. From what I have seen, Workday does not have a test engine as such. Is there an Articulate product that works best with Workdays so that I can track and report on tests in granular detail? Does anyone use workday and are happy to share how they test colleagues about learning?

I also work for a company that is changing to Workday Learning LMS.  Workday Learning has a pretty robust feature that they call "Surveys" that I think can be used for quizzing.  You might check with your LMS admin about creating surveys.

I have used several LMSs at several different companies over the last few years and they all had polling/quizzing/surveying features that began to run together in my  head.  So I have always used Articulate Storyline to do my quizzing.  Depending upon the LMS, the quiz data can be captured from a SCORM implementation of a Storyline quiz.  I did it when needed in my old LMS.

Any LMS that calls itself "SCORM Compliant" (as Workday Learning does) should be able to capture the quizzing data you describe.  However, the SCORM protocol is rather big and an LMS can call itself "compliant" and still leave out a few data points.  I have seen this with other LMSs in the past.

I do not have enough experience with Workday Learning yet to say that I have  actually captured the quizzing data.  Perhaps someone else that has experience with Workday Learning can comment and put both our minds at ease.
