Audio on Android tablet/Storyline lesson through the Docebo app

Nov 03, 2017

I'm using the Docebo LMS and have been testing the Docebo app with a Storyline course in HTML5.

I'm having some difficulty getting the audio to play. It seems to play audio in a video with no problem but the slide audio isn't playing.

Anyone had the same problems?

Hi Steve,

Did you try uploading your course to SCORM Cloud to see if you see the same behavior?

That's what we generally recommend doing to determine whether the problem stems from the course or the LMS. Here's an article that walks you through how to do that.

If it works correctly on SCORM Cloud, then the problem is coming from the LMS and you'll need to talk to your provider.

If you see the same issue on SCORM Cloud, then the problem is likely coming from the course itself. If that's the case, please reach out to our support team.

Thanks for your reply Allison. I can run the lesson with audio through a Chrome browser on the tablet so I know the audio is functioning properly in the SCORM output from SL. I was wondering if anyone knew any SL tips or tricks that they had experienced using the Docebo app. It's such basic functionality - playing audio on the timeline of a slide...

For example I had difficulty on Android/Chrome with the audio playing on a slide when I revisited and had to set the slide properties for every slide with audio to reset the content on revisit rather than let SL decide.
