Caption boundry without content

For some reason, the outline of a caption is showing but nothing else.  I attached a screen shot.

This is on top of the scrub head stopping.  I don't know about the second part, which is very irritating, but might have to do with the computer.

Between these two barriers, I'm really getting behind on my project.
