I'm trying to utilize an animated menu that shows all of the modules in a particular course. I'd like for the "state of the menu items" to change such that it has a check mark behind it after the user has finished the module in question. I've created state changes and linked them to variables that are triggered by hitting "next" on the last slide within each module, but the states are not changing as I'd hoped. Any idea as to how I can accomplish this? All variables are set to false and are supposed to change to true when the user hits next on the last slide of the module which should in turn change the text box to the "completed" state when the timeline starts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached a skeleton version of my course. Thanks!
Hi Derek, all you need to do is move the variable trigger up. The triggers will execute orderly, so in your case, it will do jump to other slide first. And since it left the current slide already, it won't execute the variable adjustment then.
