Course NOT completing when it should....

Hi all -
I've created a quiz using storyline 2 - I originally had it set up to mark the course complete in our LMS (Cornerstone), with a passing grade of 80%. For some people it worked, for others it did not. Because of the inconsistency, I changed my method for the course to be marked complete based on numbers of slides viewed, 23 of 23 (using a variable, I set it so they had to pass the quiz in order to advance to the last slide). Again, worked for some but not for others.
I'm thinking the LMS is not registering the completion correctly if the user either closes out early, or fails and retakes the test? I'm fairly confident the reporting and tracking is set correctly, I think.....
Should I change my player settings to force a user to re-start the course entirely if they fail or exit early? No longer giving them the option to "resume where left off"? Not sure if that will help, but any advice is much appreciated!

Hi Carrie! Sorry you're having issues, that sounds frustrating. Have you tried testing your course on Scorm Cloud to see if you see the same problems? If not, I would suggest doing that. It will allow you to determine if the problem is coming from your LMS or from the course itself. Here's an article that explains how to do that. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!
Thank you, Allison! Tested in SCORM, I failed the first time, then passed the second time, and it marked complete as it should. Must be something with the LMS....
Sounds like it! I would contact your LMS provider and see if they can help you troubleshoot.
