Customizing Tabs interactions

Here's a good question from a blog reader. It's one of the more common questions so I thought I'd repost it in the forums.

I’m new to Articulate.

Question #1. How can I build a Tabs interaction in Engage, move it to presenter and have the images become the background?

Question #2. How can I include text narration in the Tabs interaction so that it shows up in the final presenter project?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Question #1. How can I build a Tabs interaction in Engage, move it to presenter and have the images become the background?

To create a transparent Engage interaction, you need to do two things:

  • Create a transparent background in Engage
  • Enable the option to show slide master in Presentation Options

Question #2. How can I include text narration in the Tabs interaction so that it shows up in the final presenter project?

Showing notes for an Engage slide works like any regular PowerPoint slide: just enter the notes in the notes section of your PowerPoint slide. You will need to include all notes for your tabs--there isn't a way to show each tab's notes individually. Here's how to setup and enable slide notes.
