We are building an interactive slide where the user must set a table. We would like to make the drop targets transparent so they are not so noticeable, however we want them to glow anytime a drop item is dragged over the target.
What triggers/states would we need to make the drop targets change while an object is dragged over it (not dropped) and have the target return to normal if the object is dragged away?
You should be able to add a state to your drop target called Drag Over. It is a preset state that should add the functionality you are looking for with no additional triggers or work.
I attached a reference file that should show the functionality you requested.
Also included the basic instructions here:
Select the drop target
Click EDIT STATES
Click the New State icon
Select Drag Over from the drop down list
Edit your Drag Over state by adding a glow
Click DONE EDITING STATES when finished.
Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Hope it is helpful!
