Rise has this very easy to use slide scroll function, as seen on attached screenshot. Is there a similarily easy way to build this kind of interaction within storyline 360?
I'd really appreciate your hints or advices and best regards Roland
Because it's a bit urgent, I tried a bit more myself and I seem to have found a possible way for such an interaction in the attachement. I created a layer for each slide and added direction buttons to move forward to next and backward to former slide (layer). My questions are now:
- On layer "Tipp 1", I would like to add a trigger to the left green direction button (Picture 5), that brings the learner back to the base layer. How do I do that? This question arises often and I don't really see, why it's not just possible to set a trigger, back to base layer.
- Then I'd like to ask, if it's possible to stop the timeline on the layers? I would like the learner to decide. Or is it a workaround, to just set the timeline to 1 or more minutes (as I did with layer "Tipp1")?
Thanks in advance for your support and best regards Roland

create a blank layer set to hide other layers set a trigger on your button to show that layer
Hi Phil
Good point. I guess, I should have found out myself. Thx, it worked fine that way.
Do you have a clue about my other question? The "if it's possible to stop the timeline on the layers?" question.
Thx Roland
Try these triggers on tipp 2.
Cautions:
1. You have to pause the timeline before the exit animation starts.
2. To advance, the user must click after the timeline pauses. I would set the timeline to about 2 sec, with a 1.5 sec exit animation.
Thank you very much, Walt. You've been a great help.
