Issuing Survey + CPE Certificate at same time

May 04, 2015

We deliver onsite training for our software product.  Today, attendees don't have to register prior to attending.  This means that we don't have an electronic list of the attendees.  We pass around a paper-based form for attendees to enter their name and contact information so that we can create a CPE certificate for them and email them post-training.  We also distribute an online survey for course feedback.  What we'd like to do (as we have not yet purchased an LMS), is to distribute the only survey, then immediately issue and present the CPE credit certificate online that the user can save / email / print.  This would eliminate the need for us to manually manage the list of attendees and create separate certificates.  Can Articulate support this process with a survey + certificate function?  If so, without an LMS as the backbone?  Thanks for any insights you can share.

I'm not sure how you are planning on delivering your training, but if your solution includes developing modules with Articulate you can do this.

If you include a text entry field near the beginning of your module/course, you can use it throughout your course including enabling people to enter their own name and display it on another slide with certificate information.

You can create a certificate with pre-populated name of course/certification and add a system date display and a button to print or email. You'd have to host your course on a webserver for the javascript to work.

There are some other ways to create certificates that you can find on the community.

Hope that helps!
