Looking for the best Free or almost free Video editing software

Jun 16, 2016

My team will be delving into creating videos for the first time, and my boss wants to know what is the best free or almost free video editing software. We will use it to imbed video into eLearning and creating stand alone videos. Anyone have any info on Filmora?

One of my favorite "swiss army knife" type toolsets is AVS4You .  Bunch of handy little tools for less than $60 lifetime subscription.....   Video editing, Video conversion, Image Editing, Document Conversion, Audio Editing, etc etc.   And it's decently supported with documents, tutorial clips, and a community for answers.

Hopefully will be a good match for you.  If you like.... in addition to the "features overview" for each tool on that main page, you can go to the Knowledge Center (via either Help or Support tables) and browse either the "How To Videos" for each tool, or the documentation (screen shot versions).  Both will give you a nice feel for the interface and features available.

Here is an example of how to add a fade in/out to a video.

Thanks Bob. I couldn't get anything to play from that page. Am I missing something?

I  know a professional video cutting tool that could help you. It's Joyoshare Media Cutter which can cut any video and audio at lossless quality. And it's also converting the trimmed videos and audios to other popular formats as well as devices. You can find more details from the official link: http://www.joyoshare.com/video-cutter-win/
