Need some help. I'm working on a project that has a quiz (38 questions, will select 10 at random). Once the user passes the quiz they then need to click a button on a new slide to confirm they understand and have reviewed all the content. I need both the quiz and the button to report to the LMS.
I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgeable so would need very specific steps on how to accomplish this!
If the results slide for the quiz is going to be the final slide in your course, you could add a message to the Correct/Passed layer that says something like 'If you are happy that you have reviewed/understand all content etc..., click here to close the course'. You could then add a button with a trigger to Exit Course and return the learner to the LMS. The button isn't necessarily reporting to the LMS but by proceeding the learner has accepted the T&Cs.
You could add another button if needs be that they can click to say they don't understand, just to cover yourself. This could pop a message up with further instruction.
I don't think you'll get the quiz and the button to report seperately to the LMS. Maybe you could do something with xAPI but my knowledge of this is still developing so I wouldn't feel confident guiding you.
I can only suggest tracking the combined results slide in the file I uploaded and work on the assumption that if a learner passes the quiz but doesn't acknowledge the T&Cs then they fail.
Perhaps you could add second button to the slide that says 'No, I don't acknowledge the T&Cs and want to exit the module without saving my quiz result'. At least this way the learner knows before they quit that they'll fail.
Thanks again David - I like the don't acknowledge option. Never thought of that - gives us an added layer of tracking. xAPI is way beyond me at this point but in time. You've given me great workarounds - much appreciated!

Thanks so much David. Great suggestion - I'm going to give that a try!

The version I've attached seems to track for me in SCORM Cloud.

No worries, hope it works out!
