Passing quizz to move to next scene

Feb 08, 2017

Hi all,

I am attempting to create a course with 14 scenes that each have a quiz.

The learner will need to get 100% on each to move to the next scene but I am not sure how to set this up so they cannot advance until 100% is achieved.  Would much appreciate some guidance to set this up.

If setting it up this way is not the best way I am open for suggestions.

Cheers

Update: I managed to disable and enable the next button on the results slide with some conditions and it is working as I wanted it too. Cheers to that!!

Update: More questions..please see below and attachment..Cheers

Well....I thought I had it beat but when we tested it in our LMS here is what we found

I had it set up to track using quiz results and when we finished the first module and closed out of the program our LMS thought the course was completed and took it off the learning plan.

I changed to 'track using number of slides' and when closed after completing module 1 it bookmarks and allows us to resume but doesn't show completion after finishing the last module (module 2 in our test program). It stays on the learning plan.

So...how do you think I could ask the program to finalize after the last module is completed?

Appreciate any help...Cheers

Hi Brian,

Did you also look at testing this outside of your LMS? I know that each LMS can have different completion results and tracking options, so I'd want to have you look at testing this in SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing. These directions will walk you through how to test the content. If it all works there and you're able to see the completion, you can share those results with your LMS team to help figure out what settings you should look at changing within the LMS. If the behavior persists there, we'll want to start by taking a look at your .story file which you can upload to our Support Engineers here.
