Placeholder screens

Hello ! 

I'm just reading this post : but I am french and I am not sure of my translate of Placehoder Screens : The smaller slide we see under the big master ? 

I am right or is it a screen which contains soe placeholder ?

Hi Sebastien,

To answer your question, yes you can use master slides (the smaller ones you mentioned) to layout your course structure. I think Tom's post was referring to how you, as a eLearning designer, can use a default "template" for your courses to help you guide the structure of the course.

For example, my courses typically have a similar beginning, middle and end structure - with the beginning being a Welcome Slide, Learning Objectives Slide and Introduction Slide(s)...this continues for the other major sections of the course. This helps me to easily "chunk" out the content and gets me thinking about how to write my narration, create my graphics and where I can add interactivity, etc.
