I've gone over this course a dozen times but find when a person fails the test they can't take it again. I believe all the quiz slides are set to reset so the test can be taken again, but no go. I've attached the file and hopefully someone can see what I've forgotten to do.
Wendy's advice is right on. Storyline is built to decide what's right, so it's usually best to use the "Automatically Decide" setting for revisiting a quiz question. (Exception: Stand-alone questions not attached to a Results slide; if you want the user to re-answer those, set it to Reset to Initial State.)
I noticed that your file didn't have a Retry button. That functionality doesn't appear automatically when you create a Results slide; you have to add it. You can find the button for adding the Retry Button in the Results Tools>Design tab:
FYI: A Retry button automatically contains 2 triggers: one to reset the results (which tells the program the user needs to take the quiz again) and one to jump to the first question or, in your case, to the question bank.
I removed the retry button because I set up the program to reset to the beginning if a student fails the test so they must review the material before retaking the test.

Hi Melanie
Not in my office to check the file but change the quiz slide revisit property to ‘automatically decide’
On the retry quiz button set trigger to reset results then have the jump to slide trigger back to first question.

Thanks, I'll give those suggestions a try.

Hi, Melanie,
You can avoid the Retry button, but you do need the Reset-Results trigger somewhere before the student retakes the test.
