Has anyone discovered a way to change (or create new) default Shape Styles that appear in the Drawing Tools ribbon of power point? http://screencast.com/t/TMreGYAaS
I like the way these default are easy to us to change objects with my custom color palette, but I'd like to change the default font and point size of the outline. Any ideas?
Thanks much for your help--this is close but not quite there. I want to change the defaults of all of the Shape Styles not just the initial default. I found something about it for old version of PPT (2003), but haven't found anything like it in recent versions.

Hi Heather!
It looks like you can set the default shape style for the file you're working on by following these simple steps: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/change-the-default-settings-for-lines-and-shapes-HA102749751.aspx
They point out that if you want the same defaults for a new file, your best bet is to use the above steps to create a template that you can reuse.
