I'm wondering if anyone has any creative ways to get a "swing open" effect for text?
See the video here for reference (http://app.wistia.com/embed/medias/3d12be22b8?width=640&height=360&autoplay=true&playbutton=true&controls_visible=true&end_video_behavior=reset)
I can do it with video production tools. I've done very similar effects using Adobe AfterEffects and the NewBlueFX titler in Sony Vegas. I have no idea how you would do it using the tools in PowerPoint.
Yeah, something like that requires a lot more physics manipulation than you're going to find in a authoring tool or presentation tool. Probably would need to do as an animation and insert.
possible quick and easy answer is to produce in flash using flasheff (http://www.flasheff.com/?track=s|us|fe|fe-us|fe-us-flashtext&gclid=COWJrKShybACFYbrKgodjCp1VQ).

That is a cool effect. I've never seen it done in PowerPoint. I'll be interested to see if someone knows how to do it in an alternate tool
Ditto. I've seen that effect in TV ads lately, and I've LOVE to know how to do it. Anyone?

I've tried that every which way imaginable but I cannot create the effect as seamlesly as I can in After Effects or other video production tools.
