I had an enquiry from a client this week for a game they were trying to build and didn't know how. I gave them a high level overview of how to build it.
But the idea wouldn't leave my head, so I took some time out yesterday to build it.
Let me know what you think.

I will share the file when I sort a few things out, I really want to get the Enter Key to submit.

Here is the file.
@Pernille the list should be:
And one not so easy to see fruit.
There are some variations allowed, and I have a version up and running with fuzzy logic where if the spelling is 80% correct you will get credit.
Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing the story file, Phil! People are going to L-O-V-E this! 😁
Well thought out and put together. Love the interaction. Thanks for sharing.
This is so beautiful and an excellent game for language learning (which is what I teach), but as Pernille noted, I also wondered if I could allow for "close enough" spellings--and provide feedback. I'm looking forward to looking at this more closely. Thanks so much for helping a newbie like myself learn from the experts!
Excellent work, Phil! I enjoyed playing your game. I had to do a little digging to answer the last two fruits, so I am glad you provided the answer key. I found this interaction useful to identify the learners' skills for a cross-training class.
Super, thanks a lot !!!
Nice Phil, now if only someone would help me spell pomegranate - lost lives because of that. :-(
Wow! Such an inspiration :)
I am new to this. This is such an eye opener. Thank you.
I loved it <3, It was an enjoyment for me to play. Thank you sooo much for sharing Phil :D
Nice work!
This is fabulous Phil.
So much detail in the triggers, variables and js to make this seamless and beautiful.
This is great Phil, and the color tones are so inviting! Thank you for sharing the file!
Really well done.
I added fuzzy logic into this one https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/halloween-text-entry-game
Will release the file once I have cleaned it up again, I simplified a lot of the functions in this so it has less triggers and is cleaner.
Can you share a template version of this project? It is amazing and I would love to use it.
Hi Linda! You can download Phil's example here.
Thank you Sarah! I was hoping there was another version to download. I am in love with this template and have been working with it since the day before Thanksgiving but it refuses to save my changes and almost crashed my laptop.
I receive the following error messages:
Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated. Has anyone else created a similar version?
Linda
Brilliant!!
Are you trying to run from a network drive? Those errors normally occur with latency issues on the file.
Hi Linda! I'm so sorry that's happening! Please use this link to submit a support case: http://articulatecase.com/
This will be an attractive and rewarding game :v . I think you should share more at yowhatsapp
This looks great! Thanks for sharing.
I like that you get the red swiggly line under misspelled words, but it would be even better if you could click on misspelled words and they would give you the correct spelling like spellcheck in MS Word.
Sorry, just seeing your fuzzy text entry logic here https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/halloween-text-entry-game#reply-720672
