Hi! I'm getting started on my first projet with Articulate and I'm trying to have a video played only when we click the button (using the trigger). But isn't working... the video start itself anyway. I can change the time it start in the timeline, but I don't know how to make it play only by the trigger of the button. What I am doing wrong?
Without seeing the page setup, I'd suggest to first create a trigger to ensure the video is stopped when the timeline starts. Then make sure the trigger to play the video on click is listed AFTER that. This is assuming your video is embedded in Storyline and not embedded from somewhere else, of course.
Insert a Pause button/marker as a layer after the video at the beginning of where the video begins playing on the timeline. Then create a trigger to pause the timeline on the slide when the pause button is pressed. Do the same with a Play button/marker to restart the video after it is stopped.
