I took a look at your file and the results are puzzling.
I suspect it has something to do with the intro that starts when quiz slide shows. I could not find that image but if it is transparent and above the other layers it would prevent you from clicking anything beneath it. In that initial image, I can click on return to game and then the slide works fine.
If you delete the Progress - Copy (2) layer off of the master the slides you can then at least click on the objects. It does seem to mess up the course. I'm not sure why but when you click an answer there is quite a delay for the feedback and if you get one wrong it sends you right back to the beginning again. I'm not sure if this was by design or not.
