I agree with the need to look at the project file.
There could be a number of factors to consider (are all the icons on the base layer? Are you allowing each layer to click through to the base layer or are there icons with triggers on each layer?)
Just reached out to Articulate and someone should provide you with a link shortly. Happy to take a look and see if I can assist you once I see the .story file. Also, what version of Articulate are you working in?
If you'd like to share a copy of your file with our Support team to test out triggers, we're happy to take a look and figure out if it's just a little mistake in order or something of a larger issue. You can upload it to us privately here. Let the team know if you need us to also share our NDA or anything else about confidentiality with files.
Thanks for your offer to help, Richard! If you want to connect with Claudia directly it looks like she has the Contact me enabled on her profile. You can use that to message her directly and that will reveal your email to her. She can then share a copy of her .story file through email.
I'm sure someone from Articulate will reach out shortly. Unfortunately, I can't help on this one without the .story file. Hopefully, you'll hear from someone on the Articulate support team shortly.
Hi Claudia, when you say that some of the triggers are not working on the second attempt is this happening when you leave the slide and then return to it at a later time? If this is the case, it might just be a matter of changing the slide property to make sure it is set to initial state when revisiting.
If this is not the case, then you might want to check the properties on each of the layers to make sure they are a) set to hide other layers and b) set to make sure you can click on the base layer when on the layer.
if none of this works then I would have to see the file to figure out what is happening.

Claudia,
Happy to take a look if you provide the .story file. Are you working in SL2, SL3 or SL360?
Richard

Please sent me a link for upload that doesn't display the file publicly

Claudia,
It sounds like you are set! If you need more help, just let me know; otherwise, I'll assume you'll reach out to Articulate's support on this.

Hi, I sent in a file about two weeks ago. Any ideas?
