Ok so if I created someting in Storyline and uploaded that SCORM course to the LMS that we use and ina few months if I have to update the course...say a few slides withing the course. Can I do that?
Or do I have to make the changes to the existing story file and upload a new course. How will the LMS tarck the data attached to the course that users have already taken.
Typically you are going to have to repost a new course. However...
With most LMSs, as long as you "replace" the course with exactly the same course the same way (name, path, etc), it should retain completion histories and the like. But you are going to want to check with your LMS provider.
Thanks Bob, I will have to check with my LMS admin to figure this out. We provide CME credits and have to reatin data for 10 years, so I am trying to figure out way to update courses, but not have duplicates and confusing users.
