I'm pretty new at this and creating my first module in Studio13. I have included a video in my PowerPoint using the add slide video from file option. When I previewed this yesterday the video was there. Today it's not.
I carried out the steps all over again and after I close the file the video is gone again. Appreciate any advice I can get
thanks so much for this advice. It took me a number of tries to do this at it kept hanging each time I tried. A number of times I received the message that something went wrong with Presenter as it stopped working.
Finally I rebuild the powerpoint pack and started again and when I tried to preview it, the whole thing hanged again. My video is an MP4 so I don't think the file format has anything to do with it. Is this a common problem that you may know of?
It isn't anything I've heard of, but if you're already working on local project files, next I'd try adding that file into a stand alone Presenter file to see how just that file behaves on it's own. If it's still not working it may be the MP4 file itself (not specific to the format, but the file as a whole).
If you're seeing odd behavior such as this when inserting any MP4, I'd look at going through the repair.

Hi Mandana,
Are you adding the video in from the Presenter options or the Powerpoint options? You'll want to follow the directions here to insert a video.
You'll also want to make sure you're working on local project files as described here.
