What industry sector do you work in?

Hi all.
I always enjoy looking at profiles to see if contributers have listed where they're from - geographically and industry - not everyone lists this info though.
So - what kind of industries do you work in? I'm curious to know what areas have embraced e-Learning the most. I've noticed a lot of posts from people in the Healthcare sector here.
I've mostly worked in telecommunications, and implemented e-Learning frameworks (off the shelf and customised) in a couple of those companies. Now I'm in the world of insurance, and creating customised courses here.
Cheers,
Sarah.

I live and work in Alexandria VA, USA (10 minute drive from Washington, DC) for the Advanced Distributed Learning Initiative (a.k.a., the people who brought us SCORM and the Experience API). While in a way our user base is the entire world, we are technically an R&D outfit under the US Department of Defense. As such we primarily serve the US armed services and the many branches of the US federal government.
(A cool but usually unknown benefit to this is that pretty much everything we make is free for anyone to use.)
For those of you looking for professional narration for your projects, keep in mind that narrators with their own studios can work with clients literally all over the world! I have ISDN, Source-Connect, and Skype/phone patch capability so you can direct the narration from anywhere, and finished audio files will be sent to you in any format you wish through FTP servers!
And as an ex-pilot I pride myself on "on-time performance" and "quick turnarounds" :-)

Hi Sarah,
I am located in Northern Virginia. I personally have worked with the U.S. Military, Law Enforcement, and Gov't Agencies to develop training. We used Authorware, Director, Flash and a few others back then. Currently I work with a Call Center project which is a fairly large industry to work in.
I am based in London, UK and work in the health and social care sector in an organisation that supports people with learning disabilities and mental health illnesses. We started off with off-the-shelf elearning but now we are doing customised elearning. I only just designed my first course this year on health and safety. I am currently working on designing an infection control and prevention course. While I am one of the elearning gurus for my company (there is one other person), I also do a lot of face training and sometimes action learning.
Cool thread, Sarah!
I wish I had discovered this sooner ;)
