Which option is better? Embed your video, or choose the download/insert it to the course? Feb 14, 2017 By John Toh hi, Just wondering which is a better option to insert a video into a course - use the embedded code or download the video and insert it as a file. If you guys can share the pros and cons, that would be great.Thanks
Tristan Hunt 7 years ago02/15/17 at 3:16 am (UTC) We choose embed our courses using Vimeo for the following reasons Able to update just the video and not republish whole module Ability to link multiple modules to one video Ability to link to video outside of the elearning modules Better download speeds than we get from our LMS Cheaper than purchasing additional space/bandwidth from our LMS host
