Hi DIANZELIAO,
I've attached some examples of an original XLIFF file and one file that is partially translated. In the file with translated text, you'll notice the presence of target tags.
May I ask how you will do your succeeding translations if you don't use the translation service? Note that you'll still need to use translation software to translate your XLIFF files. Matecat is a great resource if you plan on doing the translations yourself!
Hello DIANZELIAO,
Happy to help!
Would you mind walking me through how you're translating your Rise 360 XLIFF files so we can identify what could be causing the behavior? Note that you'll need to use a translation service or a translation application like Smartcat or Trados to perform the translation, and the output of the translated file should also be in XLIFF format. Please share a copy of your translated XLIFF file so we can check why Rise 360 does not accept the file format.

Hi Jose,
i used a script to extract all the text from the xliff file exported from the E-learning, and use some 3rd party translation SW to get it translated.
afterwards i insert the translated text to the xliff file and when i tried to re-import back to the E-learning it says file format incorrect.
i did nothing just replace the text. so i am wondering how a sample translated xliff file looks like.
Hi DIANZELIAO,
That must be the cause of the issue. You'll need to translate the file directly instead of copying/pasting or inserting text from another source. Please try doing a direct translation of the file using Trados or Smartcat and let me know if this fixes the issue for you!
