Rise quiz limited tries.

Hello, we've encountered an issue when creating a quiz page on rise with limited tries.

If a user fails a test after the given limited tries, the screen won't show the 'try again' button anymore and won't let the user continue. What is the user supposed to do here now?

  • Do they have to restart the overall course?
  • Is there a way to show a restart button or some sort of instructions for the user to know they have to restart the LMS/course?
  • What happens if an LMS saves progress on an user. Would the user close the screen, reopen it and land back in a failed course where there's no way to continue?

    Hi Cesar,

    Can you confirm if you are using the following settings in your quiz:

    Require passing score to continue  and Quiz Retries = Limited.

    The quiz settings: Require passing score to continue and Limited number of tries are not meant to be used together.

    If you choose to require a passing score to continue, you'll need to allow learners to keep retaking the quiz until they receive a passing score. I hope this helps!
