SCORM Package Missing Manifest
When I try to drop my SCORM package into my LMS, I get an error message: "The package is missing a manifest." However, I see the manifest file in the detail list. How can I fix this without having access to the source file?

So, let's go the next step: what version of SCORM are you publishing from Storyline, and does Brightspace handle it? In my case, Cornerstone SBX (formerly known as Saba) does not technically support SCORM 2004, Edition 4. Cornerstone SBX "treats SCORM 2004 4th edition as 3rd edition" by importing 4th edition content as 3rd edition. Features which are common to both 3rd and 4th and editions will work properly, but features specific only to 4th edition do not work.

Much like a cake, you cannot "unbake" a published course into its core ingredients and "rebake" it into, for example, a loaf of bread.

Hi sholden can you confirm that the imsmanifest.xml file is in the root of the *.zip folder. It cannot be nested in any other folders. For example, when you double click the zip to view the contents, the imsmanifest.xml should be visible, you should not have to click into any other folders to find it. This is the most common issue.

Yes, it is in the root file. It works for other LMS systems but doesn't work for Brightspace.

That is precisely what I think the issue is. Brightspace does not accept this SCORM version. But I do not have the source file to republish it in a version they do support. Do you know of a way I could republish without the source file?

Precisely! Thanks for the help.
