Uploading Rise file into Moodle
Hello!
I am working with Moodle for the first time, trying to upload a SCORM file. Apparently the file size of the SCORM is too big (it has a lot of videos). I've tried compressing the SCORM file with DoctorElearning however it makes the appearance and functionality quite poor.
Are there any ways around this? The SCORM file is 262.31 MB.

Hi Katie,
I don't have my Moodle admin interface in front of me right now, but some thoughts that come to mind are checking the admin settings to see if there is a limit on file sizes that can be uploaded. If you are not the admin for your Moodle, you might check with your admin to see if there is a file size limit and ask that it be increased.
As for another idea, if I may suggest, you could also consider breaking your SCORM project up into multiple SCORM files. Moodle will easily allow you to post multiple SCORM files in the same course and also allows you to require the learner to complete the first one before having access to the second one.

Thanks so much for your suggestions! It looks like the maximum upload file size is already set to the upper limit.
My other thought is, is there a video hosting platform I could use to embed the videos (rather than upload directly into the course)?
I'll try breaking down the course first.
Appreciate your help!

Hi Katie,
I personally use the Muse.ai website for an online video platform.
It works smoothly, the player is clean, and the cost is low.
