I'd love to know a bit more about how you'd like to use the look of labeled graphics with the customization you're seeing in blocks - is there a specific piece you'd want carried over into the other type? That's good intel for me to share back with our Product team as they look towards new features or updates to our existing types!
Adding the labelled graphic as a block type is on our roadmap, but I don't have an ETA for it yet. We'll keep you posted though once we've got some additional information to share, and you can also keep an eye on the Rise Version History page and the "What's New page" for all of Articulate 360.
We're also very keen to see these full-page activities as blocks. Currently we're being forced to break up topics over numerous pages (because not all activities are available as blocks) and this makes for a bad student experience because the course quickly becomes hard to navigate, especially with only one heading level in the navigation menu.
Is there a realistic ETA for these activity blocks yet — is Q2 even a possibility? It would be good to have a rough date rather than 'sometime' because it's really hampering our development efforts.
Can I also suggest implementing a 'sub section' heading (for the Shift + Enter function in the navigation menu) to help organise longer courses — it would definitely make our students' lives easier.
We don't have an ETA for this nailed down yet, but we know it's an important one based on the feedback we've seen here. Our team has so many great things planned for Rise (and the entire 360 suite of tools) so we're continuing to refine and prioritize that based on customer feedback, and any pending fixes or new issues reported.
For the "sub section" headings, it's not a feature I've seen discussed here in ELH before, but I can certainly pass it along to the product team!
Yes, I agree, we really want to be able to do this! There are a few "pre-built" interactions (like timeline, labeled graphic) that we want to be able to use as custom block, so we can customize the look and feel of the particular page a little better.
Thanks for your patience - this is moving up on our roadmap timeline and we'll start to release these new block types (based on the pre-built lessons) later this quarter.
They'll be rolling out incrementally but we'll keep you posted as we push them out to Rise!
This feature is up next for our team to work on! We’ve got a few other things in the pipeline before that, but once we’re able to share an update on this, we’ll let you know!
I am using Rise and I really like it a lot. However, I also want to incorporate a labelled graphic as a block type. So sorry that is is not yet available. Do you have ETA for this functionality yet?
Glad to hear you're enjoying Rise! I don't have an ETA just let, but rest assured we will post an update in this thread once it's ready. Thanks for checking in!
It's on our list of new features to create for Rise. We’ve got a few other things that are currently in progress before that, but once we’re able to share an update on this we’ll let you know!

Hello, I'm looking to do the same thing. I want to use a labelled graphic followed by a quiz on the same page/lesson - any way of doing this?

I also would like to add a labeled graphic as a block type. Hope the ETA isn't too far down the road!

Hi!
We're also excited about using Rise and look forward to all features being accessible on block pages we're using to build out our lessons.
Thanks.

I am also trying to do this. Thank you
+1 on Jacquelyn's comment. The flexibility to add any of the pre-built items into a custom block would certainly make the learner experience smoother

Great news this is moving up on the timeline. I would like to be able to add these into blocks too!
+1 on this suggestion! It's be nice to have the option to do Chapters, Sections, Pages.
Any Updates on this feature?
Would love to know when this is expected, we would benefit greatly from this feature.
Hey there Sean,
We're hard at work on this feature! I don't have a specific timeline, but we'll launch it as soon as it's ready. Thanks for chiming in!
We love rise and are also looking for this feature. Hoping it is moving along on the timeline.
Any update on the ability to add a labeled graphic to a block in Rise (fingers crossed it's this afternoon when my project is due). : )
Hi there Sally,
This feature is up next for our team to work on! We’ve got a few other things in the pipeline before that, but once we’re able to share an update on this, we’ll let you know!
I'd also like this option!

Glad to hear you're enjoying Rise! I don't have an ETA just let, but rest assured we will post an update in this thread once it's ready. Thanks for checking in!
I'm also awaiting this function and it seems that it's not coming anytime soon, based on the conversation so far.
Agree, this is a much needed function.
Hi Mark and Robert,
It's on our list of new features to create for Rise. We’ve got a few other things that are currently in progress before that, but once we’re able to share an update on this we’ll let you know!
