Using Chrome, Mac. Multimedia Block > Embed. Changing the link to anything (valid) results in: We are unable to generate an embed for this URL. Please check that the URL is valid and the content is publicly accessible.
Wait, I received an email saying this won't work after June 8, 2020?
On June 8, 2020, Rise 360 share links that are embedded in an iframe will no longer display your courses. For example, code that looks like this will stop working:
That email is about a different type of embedding.
What you are trying to do is embed web content inside a Multimedia Embed block in your Rise 360 course. That is still supported, and it's not going away!
The email you received is for folks who are embedding an entire Rise course into a third-party website. That's not what you're doing, so you don't need to worry about the June 8th date.
Thanks, that works. Although I would prefer to use the redirect link, because these are automatically fixed whenever a link changes (it points to the new link).
But this will work for now... Any idea when the embed URL will be fixed?

Hi Veronica,
Embedded web content isn't working correctly in Rise 360 right now. You can read more about that on our Status Page.
In the meantime, try embedding the content using an iframe code like this one, and it should work perfectly:
<iframe src="URL"></iframe>
Let me know how it goes!
Ok, thanks!

I hope that clears up any confusion!
Ok, so does the iframe code go in the Embed URL? Or in a regular text block?
Good question, Veronica!
You'll paste the iFrame code into the URL/iFrame field of the Multimedia Embed block. Then, paste the URL into the iFrame code where it says "URL".
If you have any trouble with it, share the URL with me, and I can take a look!
When I put that code in the Embed URL (with my URL) it just shows a blank Embed window.
Hmm, it might be that the web content can't be displayed in a frame.
Would you mind sharing the iframe code with me? I'll test it on my side!
Sure,
<iframe src="https://openstax.org/l/Movietickets"></iframe>
Thanks, Veronica!
I noticed that this link (https://openstax.org/l/Movietickets) automatically directs to this link (https://business.time.com/2013/02/19/movie-ticket-prices-hit-all-time-high-in-2012-why-thats-probably-good-for-moviegoers/). Is that correct?
If so, try using this iframe code:

Thanks for your help!
