Download video in Rise still not working Aug 08, 2023 By Christine Watt Hi all I have seen the existing thread with instructions to inspect, copy, and paste the video link to a browser. Unfortunately, these don't work. I am trying to download a video from a Rise course template available to everyone, "A Guide to Mentoring Others." I have tried the steps above and am still unable to download a video. I want to reduce the length of time of the video. Does anyone have a workaround? I'd appreciated it so I can use this with our audience.

Open the assets folder. You will find the videos there as MP4 files. Copy the video files out of the ZIP. Edit the video file in an external video editor. Replace the old video file in the Rise course with the edited version.

When I open the assets folder, the video files are only small (1kb) and not MP4 & I can't open them. The video doesn't appear in the asset folder properly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Publish your course for Web.
Unzip the Zip file that is produced by the publish process.
Open the content folder.
Open the assets folder.
You will find the videos there as MP4 files.
Copy the video files out of the ZIP.
Edit the video file in an external video editor.
