I might be very dense, but I can't seem to find any way to change the font style in Articulate Rise. Is this an option? I was hoping to build a specific brand module with this new tool, but said brand will insist on their fonts being used. Is this currently available or will it be?
Ah yes, I see that now. I would personally like to expand customisation to change background images, colours and use of your own fonts - but as it stands, it looks like an interesting standalone tool
I'm glad to see you were able to find the font options we currently have available in connection with things like a theme. Are you looking to use a specific standard font that is a part of the brand, or a custom font that the company has had designed for them? The custom fonts may be trickier as I don't know how you'd install that inside a browser for creation...but that's why I'm not a programmer, and I'll leave it in the capable hands of our team. :)
I'd love to know a bit more about what set ups you'd like to see to be able to use Rise and then that's information I can get into the hands of our team as they continue spec out the product road map. Also, you're always welcome to submit ideas and feature requests here in the forums or using the form available here.
Hi, I'm also interested in having our brand fonts in use asap. Do you have more info about the timetable? It's kind of crucial to be able to use those in our learning materials :).
Thanks for reaching out - it's still on the roadmap, but the time frame is still not specified. We'll certainly keep you updated here once there is any additional information!
Hi there, although we love the look and feel of Rise, we are holding off using it as we are unable to customise the fonts to match our website and LMS style guide. Will keep checking in to monitor progress. Back to Storyline for now.
Same here, we need to use our custom fonts. One of our allowed fonts is 'Arial' which is a very standard font. I'm surprised it's not part of the limited available selection.
Custom fonts are on our road map for Rise and scheduled for later this year (Q3 '17) so we'll keep you posted!
You should be able to install custom fonts on your computer and use those in Studio/Storyline as a part of Articulate 360 but if you run into any difficulty with that please let us know!
I agree. Branding guidelines are a huge part of our courses and I agree that having some of the typical fonts (we also use Arial) will be very helpful. Additionally, we have issues uploading .zip files to our LMS that contain WOFF files. Is this an issue for anyone else when publishing to your LMS? Not sure what happens if I try and delete these files from the .zip file. Any additional info is appreciated.
You'll need the .woff files for the fonts to display accurately. I know in one earlier discussion an LMS admin was able to allow the files. Could you check with your LMS team to see if that's an option for you as well?
I'll look into it and get back to you. Our LMS is SumTotal.

Hi, how far along the road map are you with Rise custom font inclusion enhancement? As mentioned by other posters, this is a rather vital component of any authoring tool. Brand alignment and theme appropriacy is important to our organisation and this is a huge limitation.
Hi Roshan! Thanks for asking. We were just discussing more robust font formatting options the other day. I don't have a definite timeline yet, but it is something that the developers are focused on now. We know how important that is for your branding.
As far as bullets go, have a look at this discussion for some ideas on custom bullet formatting!

You can change the fonts, but they are limited under the theme.

Hey Holly - we have it on our roadmap to allow you to upload custom fonts. Hope you enjoy using Rise!
Hi Adam, do you have any details on when the upload of custom fonts will be possible?
I don't Stuart. I will say it's on the roadmap but we have many other near-term priorities first. We will keep you posted.

Hi there! Is there any update on an ETA for the customized fonts?
Hello Amber! I'm glad you are excited about this feature!
We have not determined a time frame yet, but as Ashley mentioned above, we will update when we can.
Be sure to stay tuned to our 'What's New' page as well.
No update yet, Amber. It's still on the roadmap, but we don't have a release date just yet. Thanks for checking in!

Hi! is there any way to edit the bulleted list items an articulate rise web version?
Please share your ideas about it.
Thank you!
Hi Muthu,
I'd be happy to help! What element of a bulleted list are you looking to edit?
The color of the bullet and the font are driven by your Rise course settings for Font & Color Customization:
If there is something else you'd like to edit, let me know - it may be a new feature request!

I am also interested to know if you can add bullets on the fly without having to specifically select one of the bulleted list options, please.

Looking forward to be able to use our in-house corporate font to assist with keeping withing branding guidelines. Fingers crossed this comes soon :)
Ditto, Michael.
