When I upload an interactive slide from Articulate Storyline 3 into my Rise course, the interactive plays nicely on PC, tablet (both landscape and portrait view), but I only see the phone with a black screen and play button. I can't click on it from my PC obviously, but am I to assume that it will show up and play from a cell phone. The rest of the Rise course is easily viewed - images and text.
When I send the preview link to my email to view from my phone, I see nothing... not the course at all.
Smart idea to send the Rise "Share" link to yourself to view it on your mobile device. That's the best way to get a clear picture of what your learners will see on their devices.
You mentioned the Share link isn't working at all on your phone -- would you mind sending me that Share link? Be sure you highlight and copy the entire link. It's easy to miss a few characters when copying. 😁
Hi Fraser! Storyline 3 doesn't integrate directly with the Articulate 360 applications. It looks like you have access to both Storyline 3 and Storyline 360. If that's correct, open Storyline 360 and browse to where your Storyline 3 file is saved on your computer.
Once you open the project in Storyline 360, you'll be able to publish to Review 360. In Rise 360, you'll see that project when you add a Storyline block to your lesson.
Fraser - one more thing I'd like to make sure you consider: Check out the compatibility between Storyline 3 and Storyline 360. If you need to open the same file in Storyline 3 again, this article will help you avoid any hurdles!
Was trying to avoid downloading and installing 360 and just use my existing Storyline 3 file. The title and first sentence of this thread is incorrect then.
Hi Jordan. I can see how that would be confusing! But yes, you can't add Storyline 3 output into a Storyline block in Rise 360. You do need to use Storyline 360 for that.
Back to the original question in this thread. Is there a way to not have a play button appear when I import a SL360 interaction page into Rise? It integrates seamlessly on a PC or tablet. Why the play button with a black background on a phone?
Hi there, Jordan. You'll see a play button on Storyline blocks that include audio or video. Modern browsers are enforcing "auto-play" policies on media, and Storyline output includes the play button as a way to get learner permission to allow media to play. You can read more details here!
My slide has neither audio or video. It is just 4 images that have hyperlinks in them. (Rise doesn't allow you to have an image click launch a URL so I had to create a SL object)
Is a hyperlink also designed to cause the play button appear?
You'll always see a Play button on Storyline Blocks when viewing a Rise 360 course on iOS devices – does that match what you're seeing? Adam shares a bit more information on why you'll see that button in this discussion.

hi
Hi Swapnil,
Just wanted to pop in to make sure you did not need assistance with anything :)
Let us know if you do!
Ho do I import a Storyline 3 slide that I've already done into Rise??
It says to:
Publish from Storyline 360 version 3.9.13488.0 or later to Review 360, and your course will appear below.
But I have created it in SL3, not 360. Pls, help, thanks.
