I wish to translate some of our elearning content on Rise. I had a look at the XLIFF files but I am not sure ow to process. Would you have a detailed process on ow exporting and importing XLIFF files in Rise for translation matters ?
This Rise 360 Translation User Guide will help! The key is to use a web app, computer program, or professional translation service to edit your XLIFF file. The community may have specific tools to recommend to you, so I'll open the floor for their suggestions!
I exported an .xlf file for translation but the translation service doesn't know what to do with it. It is a text file with some markup. Is there an editor or translation app which can process the .xlf and the .xml file for them. Stripping out the markup would be a tedious job, even for 7 pages. I'll do it if necessary, but....isn't this intended for automating the process? Please advise. I didn't find any other posts.

Hi Matt!
You're right — you'll want to use a web app, computer program, or professional translation service specifically for translating XLIFF files.
While we don't have specific tools that we recommend, I'll open the floor to the community to share their recommendations with you.

Hi Thor,
Thank you for sharing this. It looks like an alternative to a lot of manual effort or engaging a translation service for a high price!
