Hi, I've exported a SCORM package on a Macbook pro in Safari and sent the folder zipped to a client. When downloading the file on a PC a folder namned _MACOSX is somehow added and when they try to upload only the SCORM files there's a error notification.
Anyone know how to avoid the _MACOSX folder to be created?
A _MACOSX folder can be created when you're zipping a folder on a Mac, and it's a hidden folder within the Mac environment. I tested this on my own version of Safari in MacOS High Sierra and then moved the unzipped folder to a Windows 10 environment. I didn't find a _MACOSX folder in that version.
I also tested zipping the Rise export while in the Mac Environment and moving that to Windows. I did see the Mac-specific folder in Windows then, but I could successfully upload it to SCORM Cloud and the course played back.
What's the error your colleague is seeing? Could you try sending her a copy of your Rise export prior to zipping it?
