The start button is invisible on my quiz and you can't see when an option has been selected within each question. The start button is there - if you hover over it the cursor changes, you just can't see it. I think this is something to do with the Theme settings but I can't find where to change it.

Hi, I'm not sure where to find the theme colour? I've attached a screenshot of what I see when I click preview.

Based on your screenshot, it seems the label for the Start Quiz button was deleted and set to blanks.
If you are the course owner, click on Settings, then Labels.
Find the Quiz & Knowledge Check section.
It will be the label in the first row, in the right-hand column.
If that cell is blank, type the label you want to use, e.g. START QUIZ.

I checked but it's got the text in it. Could there be a setting somewhere to change it's colour?

What is your course Theme Accent Color? Is it a very light color?
Where could I check this?

That will show you what the currently selected Theme Color is.
