Question Mark Symbols in Rise Translation

Hi there,

I'm working with my first translation in Rise and the imported text came in with a bunch of question mark symbols where accented letters should be. Example attached. (I fixed the first instance in the description manually, that's why it has an accented e.) Does anyone know why this might be and, more importantly, how to fix it? Is it something with the .xlf file? I'm attaching it here, also.
