There have been some really useful discussions about how to grab the student name from an LMS. I have been able to get this working on a published SL file uploaded to our LMS.
However, when I put the same storyline file into Rise and publish it doesn't seem to work anymore.
Has anyone else experienced this or found a workaround to get this to work in Rise?
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble getting this to work. I have never done that personally, but I would assume it's not working because the Storyline course isn't uploaded directly to the LMS, so there's no direct line of communication. When you insert a Storyline block into your Rise course, it essentially works much like an embedded web page.
If anyone else in the community has successfully gotten this to work, hopefully they'll jump in here.
